Jeff posted these photos without any comments...I thought they needed an explanation.

For dinner Lily was having Ravioli (along with carrots, corn, apples and milk), and in my experience ravioli sauce is TERRIBLE to try to get out of clothes.  She was wearing a shirt with white and I just didn't want to deal with the mess so I took her shirt off to prevent the issue.  Well, removing the shirt reminded Lily that she was wearing a diaper under her pants.  Lily does not like her diapers very much anymore, but we have not yet mastered the potty, so they are still needed.  Without something covering the diaper, she takes them off regularly.  So, this was Lily's unsuccessful attempt to remove the diaper mid-dinner.  Needless to say, the pants were covered with sauce due to the messy fingers attempting to take off her diaper, so I still had to deal with laundry issues despite my efforts to eliminate the problem.  I can't win...

This post is inspired by the video clip below (please watch the clip before continuing to read).  But, instead of just having us write Lily emails, we are hoping that all of you will write to her as well.  They can be stories, comments, photos, videos, memories, moments, anything.  Just send her an email periodically, then some day in her future, we plan to share the address with her and surprise her with an inbox full of notes from those people who love her.
